Retiring tokens for your company (FF & CO)

1) On the holdings tab of your account, select the tokens that you would like to retire and click the retire button on the bottom of the page, highlighted in red.

Note: Freight forwarders must first retire tokens before transferring them or retiring them on behalf of others.

2) A pop up box will appear asking you to select the number of tokens / emission savings you would like to retire. If you would like to retire all these tokens / emission savings select "MAX". Additionally you will be asked to input the year in which you will claim these emission savings and whether the name of your company should be included on the public retirement table. After selecting these points, click submit and the administrator will review this retirement.

3) While waiting for administrator approval, you can see the tokens you have requested to retire in the pending units section of your account.

4) Once approved, you can see your retired tokens in the retired tokens section of your holdings.

Clicking the public retirement table button will direct you to the public retirement table where the retirement is displayed.

Clicking the export button will automatically download the retirement statement for these tokens.
